At an early age, Elijah showed signs of musical abilities. After learning how to play piano and drums by ear from his uncle and his grandmother, he quickly excelled and was asked to join a flagship children’s jazz band sponsored by a prominent Santa Barbara music academy at the age of 7. After gaining many hours of experience, learning how to play over two dozen instruments and touring around his home state of California, he started a new band with friends Mason and Megan called Fairground Saints. At the age of 17, he and fellow bandmates signed a record deal with Universal Music Group and over the next two years accumulated over 40 Million plays on streaming platforms and received critical acclaim from publications like Rolling stone, The Huffington Post and NPR. Having played 95% of all the instruments on their first record, Elijah quickly became a first call session musician in Los Angeles for renowned producers like David Foster and Mathew Wilder.

After 3 years in Los Angeles he and his bandmates decided to move to Nashville Tennessee, and within one week of moving had signed a new record deal with Sony Music and a publishing deal for songwriting with Sony ATV Publishing. Honing his songwriting abilities by co-writing with master songwriters like Jeffrey Steele, J.D Souther, Nathan Chapman and Stephony Smith, he and his band released their second record, Magic, produced by the great Marshall Altman. Their first single “California” debuted at #1 in Sweden, Germany and the U.K. In May of 2019, Elijah and his bandmates played at the Grand Old Opry, which then honored them with inclusion in the halls.

Having played thousands of shows around the country and the world for countless fans and audiences, Elijah has developed a unique live sound that has been described as “magnetic” and “effortless”.
